Starting a new manuscript takes a single click. There’s nothing to save by hand. Your work is always kept for you.

Start a new manuscript

Open the Studio

Sign in and you’ll land in the Studio.

Click new manuscript

The new manuscript button opens a fresh, blank manuscript straight in the Editor.

Give it a title

Click the title field in the editor’s top bar (it starts as “Untitled”) and name your book.

Just write

Your work autosaves as you go. There’s no save button to remember.

Open an existing manuscript

Back in the Studio, click any manuscript card to open it in the Editor exactly where you left off.

Delete a manuscript

To remove a manuscript, open its ”…” menu on the card in the Studio and choose delete manuscript.
Deletion asks for confirmation and cannot be undone.

Shared manuscripts

Manuscripts that other people share with you show up in your Library too. These are read-only. You can read them but not edit them. Learn more in sharing & collaboration.
